Hi there, I am 49 weeks old now. This picture was taken when we were going out in the evening. Mama thinks this picture will serve as an evidence that I know how to put my pacifier in my mouth and I have been doing this since many months ago.
Nowadays, I can crawl very fast and it does not take long for me to crawl from my room to Mama's room. When left unattended, I had been caught playing with the cordless phone in Mama's room. Mama thinks I like fiddling with the cordless phone as some of the buttons beep when pressed. Another toy that I like is the rubber door stopper. The kind that looks like a wedge and can prevent the door from banging shut.
These "fit" my little hands nicely and I can explore them with my hands. I also like to place the door stopper in my mouth maybe because I need a good chew and the door stopper is good for this. By the way, do you know that the surface underneath the door stopper is not a plain surface?
There were occasions when Mama and Papa let me face the consequence of removing the door stopper from the wooden door and the door came towards me slowly but heavily. I tried to push the door away but it came swinging back again at me, all because I was holding the door stopper in my hands. A few days ago, Mama left me in the living room and when she came back again, I was holding the door stopper in my hands. When Mama shouted my name, I quickly threw the door stopper away and pretended that I was just tossing it around. Mama thinks this is so funny. Yes, I already know how to pretend.. Is it any wonder that the Bible says we are all of sinful nature?
On another occasion, Mama was preparing my pram at the entrance of the door and when she turned around to get me, the door actually hit her elbow because I had quietly removed the door stopper behind her back. She scolded me and glared at me with a very angry look. I just looked at her maybe because I had not seen that facial expression before, perhaps an expression of both anger and pain.
I can also cruise along the furniture in the house. At times, Mama thinks I remind her of doing some kind of obstacle course when she was a teen. This is because I can hold to the coffeetable with one hand, turn my body around and then hold the sofa with another. This will help me face the sofa and I can then cruise along the sofa. Smart leh? Mama thinks this act requires nothing less than the courage that is required to do those rope obstacles found at some adventure centres.

Nowadays, I am also eating more regular solid meals. In addition to the milk feeds, I usually eat a small bowl of cereal in the morning. Sometimes, Mama give me bread or tau sar pau instead to add variety. Then a small bowl of porridge with meat and vegetables (if available) at around noon time. In the evening, another small bowl of porridge. I do love my food and I can eat quite fast if I am hungry.
I am also getting quite interested in the computer that Mama is using. Just look at this.
And of course, I still like Hi5. When the show comes on, I will hit the ground with my hands a few times. In fact, I seem to be doing this when I hear any singing. Maybe I should be sent for music classes when I am older.
Alright, here's another picture to round off this post. Thanks for reading and may God keep you and make His face shine upon you. :)
