After going for my very first trip overseas to Bintan when I was about 15 months old or so, my parents decided to go Bintan again this year and so in April, Papa took leave and we left for Bintan again. I insisted on bringing the float Nai nai bought me and so my parents gave me the responsibility of carrying it and I sure took this very seriously.

See, I held on to it when I was running around and not letting it go even when I was checking out the vending machine.
On the ferry, Papa bought me a lollipop in hope I can sit down quietly to eat it. Alas, it was not long before I lost interest in the sweet and started exploring around again. So Mama tried to take a few pictures of me and her in the ferry.

When we arrived, we could not check in immediately and we spent about 2 to 3 hours waiting for the time to arrive when we could check in. I saw this cute congo drum and went to fiddle with it. It turned out that this belongs to the children who were leaving the resort. Mama thought it was resort property and it was fine to let me touch it but the owners asserted their rights and I soon left it alone.

When Papa could bear the hunger no longer, we left our baggage at the concierge and went for lunch at the Japanese restaurant.

Then it was back to more waiting at the lobby.

It was about 4pm Singapore time when we got to enter our room. Mama just loves this platform and this was where I slept at night during our stay in the resort.

This was me sleeping in the cot bed, totally exhausted by the travelling and the long wait.

We also went swimming though Mama could not remember if we swam on the first day. But still, no harm looking at the lovely pictures of me enjoying myself in the float. It was worth the trouble bringing the float.

The end of Day 1. :D
