Dear all,
This is me and Papa along the travellator. We were waiting to board a night flight to Tokyo. Yes, it's my maiden flight. Papa was really anxious that we don't be late for the flight. We actually reached the airport and checked in before 9pm when the plane was supposed to take off at 11pm.
So we hung around and waited. Mama bought a bottle of baby lotion for the flight. She was advised to put some lotion for me as the air in the cabin can be drying. So one of the activities during waiting was to put on baby lotion for me. I actually like putting on lotion very much and kept asking Mama for more lotion. She would then pour a very small amount on my palm and helped me to apply it to my face, hands and legs etc.

During check-in, my parents requested for kids' meal and this was what was given to me.

Looks good, right? It was indeed yummy as Mama tasted a little of it. Unfortunately, I was awakened unexpectedly after a short few hours' of sleep and though I did not fuss, I did not eat much either. But Mama was pretty impressed with the way juice was served. See the straw at the top right hand corner of the tray, the straw was actually covered... Perhaps, this is what good service is....

It's a good thing that there is a play area for children in the airport and so we spent some time there.
There was this girl who came along with her younger brother to play and she actually took the initiative to play with me. See, this is the girl with her brother and me. She actually held my hand so that I can play properly and not fall off the fixture.. Mama thinks it's so nurturing of her. :)

Mama was concerned it may be a bit cold in the cabin during the night flight and afraid I will catch a chill when we touched down in Japan. So she had me wore 2 layers of clothes. A blackT-shirt inside and a long-sleeved shirt outside. This certainly helped put Mama's heart at ease that I am warmly-dressed as I am unable to articulate whether I am feeling cold or not.
Thanks to me, Papa and Mama were actually the first few to board the plane as those travelling with young children get to board the plane first. The plane took off at around 11pm and I only fell asleep at around 1am as there were so many interesting sights and sounds that was a first for me. :)
I did not exactly sleep very well as it's the first time I am sleeping in a plane. I was kind of too long and had to stretch my body and legs across the whole of the 3-seater that we were on. There was one time that Papa had to give up his seat so that I could stretch out my legs. He said he almost decided to take an air stewardess' seat instead had it not been for Mama who gestured for him to come back to our seats.
Also, there was no space for me to turn and I had to sleep confined to width of the chairs. But I soon adapted and I would have gone on sleeping had it not been for the fact that the lights in the cabin were turned on at about 4.30am and breakfast was served.

We arrived at Narita International airport at about 8am local time (Tokyo is one hour ahead of us) and after checking out, Papa proceeded to buy the bus tickets and we boarded the 8.35am bus to Sunshine City Prince Hotel. This is us, waiting at the airport for the bus which came punctually.

With that, we began our short trip to Japan.... :)
