It has been at least 2 years since my ears were last explored and I actually laid down on Papa's thigh and rested there, keeping still for him to clean them. Boy, it was a great experience. I think it's nice and I said so.
No photos to show for it though cos Mama was busy shining torchlight into my ear canal. In addition, Mama did not want to distract me with her camera as I may move and injure myself during the digging process but I tell you, Papa sure found some ear wax in my ears and removed them. Such stuff would ordinarily had been discarded but Mama actually kept them in a scrap book by sitcking scotch tape over them... ee-yer..... ;p
The funny thing is, I learnt the 2 words "dig ears" almost immediately that evening. A few days later, I wanted to dig Mama's ears. Mama was not about to risk whatever is left of her hearing ability and so she found herself a scape goat. Here it is. :D

Mama took out the teddy bear Uncle Bernard gave me and asked me to dig its ears. She even gave me a cotton bud and the actual torchlight we used that evening. Here I am, trying to dig the bear's ear. But I soon gave up because it was just not the same. ;p

u seriously kept his ear wax? ;p
Actually audiologists advise against any ear digging (but i still don't listen haha) and if u really want to look into Daniel's ear... examine from above the head rather than below. So pull down and back. Children's ear canals are different from adult's and angles downward rather than an adult which is angled upward. So for adults, pull up and back.;)
Yes, Cheyanne, I kept his ear wax. This is how crazy I am about my son. I even took a sniff at it, ok, a few sniffs. This is how grotesque I am ;p
Thanks for your advice about ear digging. Maybe we will try that orientation next time when we try digging his ears again. :D
