This was taken when Mama and I went for my first children's play. The show was titled Under the Baobab Tree. It was meant for children from 2 years old and above and so Mama thought she will let try exposing me to the art form of theatre.
As Mama booked the tickets earlier on in April, we managed to get good seats. We were seated at the third row from the front, at the side aisle.
The theatre is near to Newton MRT station and so we took a MRT to Newton which is something I had never tried before. Here we were, taking our pictures in the train on our way.

When we arrived there, Mama was pleasantly surprised to see there were booster seats in the form of the Ikea stools like the one we have at home.

Unfortunately, I did not really sit long enough through the entire show. I was more interested in playing with the Ikea stools and kept wanting to change my booster seat to another with a different colour.
An usher actually asked Mama to mind me as I stood at the aisle during the play, fiddling with the stools. Throughout the play, Mama had to keep pulling me back to our seats and asked me to look at what is happening on the stage. She almost wanted to bring me out of the theatre to smack me had I not returned to my seat for a while.

The saving grace was that I really remembered seeing a rabbit and a lion in the show and even til now, when Mama reads the bible with me at bedtime, I will mention about seeing a crocodile in the show, Baobab Tree. When Mama asked me, I can even tell her the crocodile was green.
Mama thought the show was rather enjoyable but I was not able to appreciate it. There is most likely no more theatre for me until I turn 5 years old. ;(
